I’m a storyteller, retired athlete, actor, speaker, and podcast host exploring the moments that shape who we become.

I’ve had many careers over the years, but they all share a common thread: building teams, creating community, and helping people feel connected to one another.

 

Along the way I learned something simple but powerful—people understand themselves, and each other, through story.

 

Stories about fear.
Stories about courage.

Stories about recovery.

Stories about queerness.
Stories about the unexpected turns that change everything.

 

My own life has given me plenty of those moments.

 

I grew up in the Midwest and discovered early that being a part of a basketball team could create a sense of belonging and purpose. At the same time, I was navigating identity, alcoholism and addiction, family challenges, and the quiet confusion that comes with trying to understand who you are in a world that often expects you to be someone else.

 

At twenty, I made the decision to get sober. It was one of the most important turning points in my life. Sobriety gave me the chance to build a life rooted in honesty, resilience, and curiosity about what it really means to live fully.

Over the years, that curiosity has led me to many different places—corporate board rooms, classrooms, courtrooms, leadership programs, stages, storytelling events, and acting work.

 

Today my creative work includes storytelling, acting, speaking, and podcast conversations, all centered around authentic human stories.

Some of my stories are funny.
Some are uncomfortable.
Some took decades to understand.

But the honest ones are always the most meaningful.

​

Whether I’m performing a personal story, acting in a character-driven piece, hosting a podcast conversation, or speaking with an audience, my goal is the same: ​

 

to create space for reflection, connection, and the reminder that none of us are alone in the process of figuring out our lives.
