My basketball story began at age 13, when I became the ball manager for the girls varsity team at Dundee High School in Illinois. I was a seventh grader tagging along with young women—and they affectionately called me “½ Pint.”

From that Dundee gym to an undefeated state championship season at Peoria Richwood High School, a college career at Illinois State University to a summer with in the professional Women's Basketball League, basketball has shape who I am.

Now retired from competition, I’m sharing the photographs, memories and lessons from a game that will always be part of me.
